Kids Will Be Kids

A Wise One –
Okay, Jesus –
Said that if
We want to Enter
What He called
Heaven,
(Who Doesn’t?)

It’s Necessary to
Become a Kid
Again.

I used to Think
that’s because
Kids are All
Innocent and
Untarnished by
Sin, but
I don’t Think It’s That.

I Think It’s Because
Kids Believe in
Magic
and Have
Imaginary Friends
and Believe
Play
is an Inalienable Right
and Imagine
They Can
Be Anything
They Want To Be.

You probably don’t
want to Know
What Jesus said
Should Happen to
Grownups Who Try to
Convince Them
Otherwise.
