Beloved

I Have No Idea
How Much of
The Holy Book
Some Call
“God’s Word”
Is Actually That,

But I Do
Love To Read
The Words
Ascribed to
Our Big Brother,
Jesus.

Especially Talking About
His Favorite Thing:

What Awaits Us
When We Leave
This Playing Field
for Love Wrestling Fear,
and Go Through The Veil
To Return To Our
True Home.

What Jesus Called
“The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Here’s One of His Favorite Stories:

A Young Man
Leaves That True Home,
Pockets Filled With
Heavenly Wealth,
But Wastes it On
What Some Would Call
a Life of Sin.

He Returns Home,
Ashamed,
Full of Fear
His Maker Will
Assign Him a Cell
In What Some Call
Hell.

But No Hell Awaits.

Instead He is Swept
Into a Banquet Hall,
To Sit At The Head Table,
His Return To Be Celebrated
With Feasting and Merriment.

“Welcome Home,”
His Father Says,
Embracing Him.

“You Are Beloved.”
