It\u2019s as if
\nYour Soul is a Painting
\nof astonishing Beauty,
\nOne-of-a-Kind
\nfrom the Creator\u2019s Brush.<\/p>\n

Then Your Soul is
\nHidden,
\nbeneath a thin Veneer
\nof Canvas –
\ncall it The Veil –<\/p>\n

and You,
\nan Artist Your Self,
\nOffspring of
\nThe Creator,
\nare handed
\nBrushes and Palette and Paint
\nand Your Creator
\ninvites You to
\nMake Your Soul
\na Work of Art,<\/p>\n

but Casts a Spell
\nwhereby You forget
\nWhat lies Beneath
\nthe Veneer.<\/p>\n

Perhaps the First Time
\nYou Make a Mess of It.<\/p>\n

Or, You Surrender
\nYour Brushes
\nto Others
\nYou deem Better Artists
\nthan You.
\nWho Make of You
\na Portrait
\nYou don\u2019t even
\nRecognize.<\/p>\n

Or You may Create
\na Thing of Beauty.<\/p>\n

But, after a Time,
\nYou Return
\nwith Your Painting,
\nto The Creator,
\nWho carefully
\nremoves the Veneer
\nand hangs it in
\nThe Gallery of Soulful Art.<\/p>\n

Then, if You Wish,
\nanother Veil
\nis carefully applied
\nover the Eternal Beauty of
\nYour Soul,
\nThe One Painted by
\nThe Creator.<\/p>\n

And so it goes,
\nas many times
\nas You Wish.<\/p>\n

But the Time may come,
\nwhen The Light
\nis Right,
\nthat You See
\nthrough The Veil,
\nand Your Joyful Task
\nbecomes to
\nUse Your Brushes
\nto Reveal
\nThe Perfect Beauty
\nthat lies
\nBeneath The Veneer.<\/p>\n
