\nTwenty-Thousand-Steppers
\ncolonizing my
\nFacebook page with
\ntheir boasts.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll forgive Them
\nto the tune of
\nSlow Dances and
\nThe Winnetka Bowling League,<\/p>\n

or, even better,<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll float in
\nThe Wisdom
\nof The Little One
\nI just stepped aside for
\non the narrow trail,<\/p>\n

pushed in a stroller
\nby a grinning Father,
\nbody too young
\nto toddle.<\/p>\n

But when He
\nlooked at Me,
\nI knew that Little One,
\neyes lit and
\nsweet half-smile,<\/p>\n

may have had
\na hundred Lifetimes
\nto loft His soul,<\/p>\n

to light Mine
\nfor a few
\nlove-leaking seconds.<\/p>\n
