\nThe Perfect Love.<\/p>\n

Moments before
\nYour Lover arrives,
\nYou notice
\nThe Rose
\nbears the marks of
\na hungry insect
\non several of its
\nperfect leaves,
\nand on its
\nperfect petals
\nthe scuffings of
\na buzzing bee, or
\na hovering hummingbird.<\/p>\n

Aghast,

\ntrail of a snail,
