I wonder if
\nwe pay too much attention to
\nunauthorized biographies of
\nthe billowing clouds of<\/p>\n

Love<\/p>\n

that blow out of
\nThe Mystery,
\nluminescent showers of
\nadoration and
\nCreation,
\nbathed in
\nThe Light of
\nthe Eternal Embrace of
\nAll That Is.<\/p>\n

Rows of books,
\nbold to pronounce
\nnames \u2026
\n\u201cGod,\u201d for example \u2026
\neager to assign
\n\u201cHe,\u201d occasionally \u201cShe,\u201d
\nwith no apparent
\nauthority.<\/p>\n

But the chapter
\nstuck in my craw
\nthis church-going Sunday morning,
\nlike an unexpected
\npebble in my
\nchocolate eclair,<\/p>\n

is a Missing Chapter:<\/p>\n

The one where
\nGod created
\nLaughter and
\nstandup comics.<\/p>\n
