I daydreamed
\na different idea
\nfor a Bucket List,
\nwherein there are
\nmultiple buckets,<\/p>\n

each containing
\nIntentions to
\nAct on Desires
\nnurtured by an
\nImagination
\ncustom designed for
\nme.<\/p>\n

(You have one, too.)<\/p>\n

There\u2019s a bucket for
\nGood Works,
\nthere\u2019s a bucket for
\nPlay,
\na bucket for
\nWork
\nI can\u2019t seem to
\nshirk.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s a bucket marked
\n\u201cDivine,\u201d
\nand one marked
\n\u201cJust for Fun,\u201d<\/p>\n

a bucket for
\nGiving
\nand one for
\nReceiving.<\/p>\n

I thought of
\ndividing them
\nfurther,<\/p>\n

the Holy Ones
\non the right,
\nthe mundane or
\nsimply pleasurable
\non the left,
\nbeginning with
\nthe obvious:<\/p>\n

Giving
\non the Right,
\nReceiving
\non the Left.
\nHeavenly
\non the Right,
\nEarthly
\non the Left.<\/p>\n

But then my
\nImagination
\nwas overcome by
\na Vision,<\/p>\n

of an Angel
\ndispatched to
\napprehend me.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy friend,\u201d said
\nThe Messenger,<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re wasting precious
\nTime to Play.\u201d<\/p>\n

Then she laughed,
\nand proceeded to
\nkick my buckets
\nuntil everything was<\/p>\n

One Holy Mess.<\/p>\n
