\nBrit detective series or
\nthat George Carlin documentary,
\nwhether to make
\npizza or burritos tonight,
\nwhether to day trip
\nto hike Mt. Walker or
\nnight trip to
\nthe Spotted Cat,
\non Frenchmen Street,
\non a retreat to
\nNew Orleans.<\/p>\n

No priests or
\nholy books
\nare consulted when
\nI choose what fiction
\nI\u2019ll take with me to
\nBetter Living Through Coffee,
\nthe better to read my way
\ninto The Mystery.<\/p>\n

Why on earth,
\nwhen The Mystery
\ntells the bouncer
\nto let me in,
\nwould I imagine
\nthe thing to do is
\nget Religion?<\/p>\n
