You Know Who You Are<\/strong><\/p>\n

You know
\nwho you are:
\nyou imagine
\nthat Jesus is
\nwatching you,<\/p>\n

that He sees
\nyou when
\nyou fail,
\nfor the
\nhundredth time,
\nto Do
\nthe Right Thing.<\/p>\n

You\u2019re decades
\nold and you
\nstill can\u2019t
\nget it right.<\/p>\n

You still waste
\nTime and Money,
\nand the neighbors
\nstill purse
\ntheir lips and
\nshake their
\nheads at
\nyour filthy
\ncar
\nand your
\nunmowed lawn.<\/p>\n

You still
\nspeak
\nwhen silence
\nwould be
\ngolden,
\nstand mute
\nwhen the
\nleast you
\ncould do
\nis say
\nsomething,
\nanything,
\njust so we know
\nyou haven\u2019t
\nfallen asleep
\nat the wheel.<\/p>\n

You imagine
\nthat Jesus is
\nwatching you,
\nbuilding a case
\nout of your
\nineptitude and
\nselfishness,
\nnot to
\nmention your
\nsloth.<\/p>\n

I know it is
\nwritten:
\nJesus wept.<\/p>\n

But when He
\nsees you,
\nJesus laughs
\nand pulls you
\nclose.<\/p>\n
