Church<\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s Sunday.
\nLean back in
\nyour pew,
\nafter you
\nrearrange those
\ncouch cushions
\nfor maximum comfort.
\nGive yourself
\nplenty of
\nneck support.<\/p>\n

Our prayer
\nthis morning
\ngoes like this:<\/p>\n

Creator of
\nAll That Is
\nand Purveyor of
\nIncandescent
\nAdoration
\nfor your Creation,
\nespecially us –
\nGod! How you
\nlove us –<\/p>\n

please help us,
\nfor even a few
\nminutes,
\nto bask in
\nBeingness,<\/p>\n

without the
\nintrusive
\nbelligerence of
\nBeliefs and
\nOpinions and
\nJudgments.<\/p>\n

Instead, we would
\nworship pure and
\nunadulterated
\nAwareness of
\nWhat Is,
\njust in This
\nMoment.<\/p>\n

Now I will ask
\nthe Musicians for
\na couple of hymns.
\nThis morning it\u2019s
\nthe Allman Brothers Band,
\nwith Ramblin\u2019 Man and
\nStatesboro Blues.
\nIt\u2019s all about
\nthe Joy,
\nBrothers and Sisters.<\/p>\n

For our homily
\nI\u2019ll keep it brief,
\na simple exhortation:<\/p>\n

You think,
\nbeloved,
\nthat it\u2019s too late
\nfor you to
\nbe all you
\nintended
\nthis Go-Round.
\nBut it\u2019s not.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ve been
\nAll of It
\nfrom The Beginning.<\/p>\n

Everything.<\/p>\n
